Our day started at dawn with a peaceful trek to the famous Riwai Living Root Bridge, followed by a quick explore of Mawlynnong Village. From there, we hit the road toward Dawki, passing by the stunning Borhill Waterfall along the way. The highlight of the trip was definitely spending quality time boating on the unbelievably clear waters of the Umngot River in Dawki. While we were there, we had a truly unique experience—meeting and chatting with friendly Bangladeshi people right across the rope border! We wrapped up our border exploration at the Tamabil Checkpoint, then drove up to the scenic Umiam Lake. After a quick, delicious snack stop at Jiva's Veg Restaurant, we caught our final ride into Guwahati and checked into the Maruti Hotel for a well-deserved rest.
