Dance Central 2 "Grenade" (Hard) 100% Gold Gameplay

Dancing to "Grenade" by Bruno Mars on Hard for Dance Central 2. Apologies for the song pitch weirdness, but it's either that or the video gets blocked. :) Watching the Vegas round of this season's SYTYCD prompted me to put this video out before the DLCs in my queue. Personality and the ability to connect with your audience through emotion is what's at the forefront of this year's competition, as per Nigel's open admission. (Another reason why I love this series; as much as the show sometimes buys too much into its own dogma, it still is the most transparent judge and voter-based Reality show in broadcast today, in my opinion.) Among any of Dance Central 2's hit songs, "Grenade" is the only track that can technically be called a ballad. Much of Marcos Aguirre's engaging choreography for this track is emotional and hits on many of the song's lamentations, which in all truth is what makes this a standout routine. Ultimately, to be able to express oneself through a dance choreographer's art, and in the process feel the emotion they were trying to communicate, despite being within the confines of a video game, is I feel the mark of a successful engagement. Thanks to all my viewers for letting me indulge in my passion and share it with the world! I promise I won't be as dramatic next time ;) "Grenade" by Bruno Mars is featured in Dance Central 2 on the game disc. Follow me on Twitter for updates!
