Halwai style suji ka halwa|| How to make semolina in desi style

Ingredients 1 cup sooji (semolina) 1 cup sugar 1 cup milk 1 cup ghee ½–1 tsp cardamom powder (optional) Chopped almonds, pistachios, or raisins (optional) Recipe: 1. Heat the ghee in a pan and fry the cashews and raisins until golden. Remove and set aside. 2. In the same pan, roast the sooji on medium-low heat for 8–10 minutes until it becomes aromatic and light golden. 3. In another pan, bring the water and sugar to a boil. Stir until the sugar dissolves. 4. Carefully pour the hot sugar syrup into the roasted sooji while stirring continuously to avoid lumps. 5. Add the cardamom powder and cook for 3–5 minutes until the halwa thickens and leaves the sides of the pan. 6. Mix in the fried nuts and raisins. Garnish with sliced almonds or pistachios if desired. Tip: For a richer flavor, use a 1:1:2.5 ratio of sooji : ghee : water (with sugar adjusted to taste). Serve hot as a dessert or during festive occasions.
