How to Run a Mercruiser Boat Engine on a Stand or Outside of a Boat
In this video, I hook my freshly rebuilt Mercruiser 5.7L (350) V8 boat engine up so that it can run on the ground, outside of my boat. The test was important so that I could check for any leaks and verify the engine was good prior to installing it into the boat. If there would have been a leak, I would have been able to fix it at that time instead of wasting the time and effort to install it. You need to hook up water, fuel, and battery so that it can run. Also, there are a few connections that need to be made to simulate being hooked up to the helm. Thanks for watching and I hope you find this video helpful! #Mercruiser #boatrebuild #boatrepair
