I left São Paulo for Porto Alegre on one of Penha's most iconic and traditional bus lines, crossing southern Brazil along the BR-116 highway, on a long, historic journey full of breathtaking scenery. On this route between São Paulo and Porto Alegre, we crossed the Serra Catarinense and Serra Gaúcha mountain ranges, passing through important cities such as Lages, Vacaria, Caxias do Sul, São Leopoldo, and Novo Hamburgo. A route that blends history, road tradition, and breathtaking landscapes.
