In 2023, DC kicked off the New Golden Age, a fresh take on its classic heroes led by Geoff Johns. This brought back the Justice Society of America and gave us solo comics for three legends: Jay Garrick (the original Flash), Alan Scott (the first Green Lantern), and, surprisingly, Wesley Dodds, the Golden Age Sandman. Unlike Flash or Green Lantern, Sandman hasn’t really been in the spotlight for decades.
