How To Make Jasmine Milk Tea At Home From Scratch

Sharing one of my favorites today: Jasmine Milk Tea! If you haven't tried it, it's a refreshing beverage that combines the astringent, floral notes of jasmine green tea with the creamy richness of milk. Often, it's served with yummy toppings like boba, grass jelly, etc. In this video, I'll share my go-to recipe for jasmine milk tea—a method that's reliable, used by the best boba shops, and calls for just four simple ingredients: loose leaf jasmine green tea, high-quality milk, sugar, and water. Enjoy! ► Ingredients: 2 tbsp (10 grams) of jasmine green tea (my favorite: https://amzn.to/3Zq1cC9) 7oz (200 grams) of hot water (160-180F/71-82C) 57 grams (2oz) of barista quality milk (my favorite: https://amzn.to/3UYanpu) Ice ► Directions: 1. Add the jasmine tea to a teapot, fill with hot water, and steep for 6-8 minutes. Note: it's really important for the water to be not too hot, otherwise the tea will become bitter. 2. While the tea is steeping, add your choice of sweetener (I use a simple syrup) and ice into a shaker. 3. Once the tea is done steeping, strain it right over the ice in the shaker. 4. Add the milk into the shaker after and shake until well mixed and frothy. 5.
