The Battle of Deptford Bridge 1497 AD

The crown of King Henry Tudor was won through bloody struggle at Bosworth Field, yet his was also a reign of battles, the first Tudor monarch having to face down several rebellions. During the year of 1497, King Henry prepared to take the fight to Scotland, its king, James IV harbouring a dangerous pretender to Henry's throne in Perkin Warbeck.
