Sossusvlei - Iconic Namibia, Deadvlei and Sesriem Canyon in Land Rover Defender | S.1 Ep.18

The road to Sossusvlei turns out to be almost as stunning as the world renowned area itself. We drive our Land Rover Defender from Windhoek to Sesriem, find ourselves alone at an awesome desert camp, and then have an early morning start to admire and explore the Sossusvlei area. With Deadvlei first on our list, we are in awe of the colours of the landscape, red dunes, white clay pans, blue skies and 900 year old black trees that have been preserved in the dry desert air. We finish our day with a walk through Sesriem canyon to enjoy the cool temperatures between the rock faces.
