Our Bank Holiday Weekend Vlog | Postpartum Emotions, Family & First Outings 💙

A wholesome bank holiday weekend as new parents 🥹💙 This weekend was all about adjusting to new routines, spending time with family and friends, and soaking up life with our two-week-old baby boy. On Friday we officially registered him at the registry office, went out for a lovely lunch together, and dropped off presents for the amazing midwives who looked after us 🤍 Saturday was filled with visits from friends and a lunch catch-up with more friends — so special introducing everyone to him. Sunday we had family over before heading to IKEA for a little family outing (and probably buying more than we planned 😅). And on Monday, I spent quality time with my mum and dad while Ben enjoyed a peaceful day fishing 🎣 I also open up a little about the birth itself, some of the symptoms and recovery struggles I’ve been experiencing postpartum, and the emotional ups and downs that come with becoming parents for the first time.
