Giving birth while transitioning wasn’t how they imagined it would happen, but when they found themself pregnant, there was only one answer. The physical journey was extraordinarily difficult; mentally, they dealt with mockery from medical professionals while being newly sober. But knowing that their body was now their child’s home helped Danny rise above it all and find new heights of self-love.
