How I got here… 18 years old: Began working in the trades. 23 years old: Graduated from a five year apprenticeship, and became a plumber. 25 years old: Started running commercial construction jobs. 28 years old: Got my master plumber license. 29 years old: Started my first plumbing business with a partner, ran it for a year, made no money, and gave the business to my partner. 30 years old: Started my second plumbing business (JRODS Plumbing and Heating), ran it for a year, and made half of what I was making at my normal job so I quit. 32 years old: Started JRODS plumbing again, made the same amount of money as my normal job but worked twice as hard so I quit AGAIN. 34 years old: Started Prospector Plumbing and Heating, scaled it to $5M in 2 years using the same systems and processes that I now share on this channel. 36 years old: Moved from Alaska to Florida where I ran that business remotely via a zoom call with my general manager once a month. 37 years old: Started Plumbsocial as a media business for plumbing businesses, scaled it to 700k in the first 6 months, and shut it down because owning a social media business sucks. 37 years old: Started Wealthy Plumber ( https://www.skool.com/wealthyplumber/... ) as a community to coach and help other plumbers build profitable businesses. 38 years old: Sold Prospector Plumbing and Heating for $5M. Today: Starting a new plumbing business called Wahoo Plumbing with the goal of scaling to 100 million in the next 10 years, and sharing my 20 plus years of experience in the trades on this channel and through the Wealthy Plumber to help YOU own a profitable home service business and achieve YOUR goals.
