Le Trésor de Valère: un travail pour l’éternité

Displayed in the former archives room, the Treasury brings together a large number of extremely rare pieces. This collection bears witness to nearly 1,000 years of history, a history intimately linked to that of the Cathedral Chapter. Indeed, from the 12th century onward, for 800 years, the canons were required to reside at Valère. They were the guardians of the citadel, but above all, of the treasures it contained.
