¿Cómo empalmar un cable usando funda Termoretráctil o retráctil ?

When splicing two wires, there are several methods, some better than others, but the shrink sleeve method might be the fastest and most convenient... and that's what this video is about: how it is and how it works. When splicing two wires, you normally use a connector or the traditional electrical tape method. Personally, I don't find the connector practical for a motorcycle, and I don't think the electrical tape splice is durable, since the tape's adhesive eventually degrades. Although it might be an emergency solution, it's not a permanent method. The shrink sleeve has come to solve this problem... I splice the wires like this... I place the two wires in a cross shape and twist them in opposite directions... It ends up like this. For some reason, there are many detractors of this system... Because it's not strong enough, because a splice with a connector is better, etc. I have my own opinion on these kinds of discrepancies... These heat-shrink tubing sleeves are plastic tubes of different sizes and colors that, when heated, contract, adapting perfectly to the splice of the two wires. As we see in the video, with the flame of a simple lighter we can get a good result... Provided the lighter works, unlike this one that, after 5 years, has decided to die... It hasn't died yet... Do you know how many times you have to try before you're convinced it's stopped working...? Thank goodness I had another lighter... Always prepared for the worst... The problem with this method is that the flame blackens the casing, giving it a neglected look. That's why I recommend a heat gun; it's quick, clean, and leaves a great finish. If you don't have a heat gun, I've used a hairdryer, and it worked too, so it's a good alternative. And the difference between the two is clear. During the filming of this video, Lila, our beloved, lifelong lighter, passed away. We want to dedicate this video to Lila's memory... we will never forget you...
