Colonel James Burton is a pathological liar: The Bradley Wars

The names Pierre Sprey, Mike Sparks, Blacktail Design, and James Burton are hallowed words within the Military-Enthusiast community. To some, they are the saviors, the rouge boys fighting the system from within, delivering common sense slaps to the stuffy old guard of over-spending and badly managed Generals in the Pentagon. To others, they are an object of amusement, a cringe-fest best observed from a distance. People whose over-bloated egos lead them to think they are fighting the good fight when in actuality they have no idea what they are talking about. In this short documentary, we look at the worst of them all, Colonel James G. Burton, a man who worked at the Pentagon and headed up its Live Fire Test program, he would write about his experiences after being forced into retirement, and his book was later adapted into a film. But does his work represent the true corruption that plagues the upper echelons of the US Military, or is it a work of fiction by a man desperate for revenge? Either way, the Pentagon War, which for copyright reasons I have re-labeled the Bradley Wars, stands as a testimony to what happens when people who don't understand Armoured Warfare, especially modern warfare, are allowed to dictate terms to the people who do.
