In this video, I take a close look at the Flying Phoenix Jian and the Snow Peak Jian to see how they compare in terms of: ⚔️ Fit and finish ⚔️ Scabbard quality ⚔️ Handle construction ⚔️ Blade geometry ⚔️ Cutting performance ⚔️ Overall value for the money Both swords performed extremely well during testing. I was able to: Cut floating paper Perform double water bottle cuts Cut through thick plastic bottles Slice through a pair of shoes Honestly, the cutting performance between the two swords was very similar. The Snow Peak is slightly less expensive, making it a compelling option, but after spending time with both swords I found myself more drawn to the Flying Phoenix. There's just something about its overall package that appealed to me more. If you've ever been curious about Chinese Jian or have been considering an LK Chen sword, hopefully this comparison helps you decide which one might be right for you. Which one would you choose: the Flying Phoenix or the Snow Peak? #lkchen #jian #chinesesword #swordreview #historicalswords #backyardcutting #cuttingtest #doublecuts #flyingphoenixjian #snowpeakjian #swordcollector #functionalart #martialarts
