Hand digging a well in Malawi
I Travelled to Malawi in south east Africa to volunteer with an Irish charity called Wells for Zoe. I spent 6 weeks in Mzuzu, located in the northern region and during my time there carried out a wide variety of work including digging a well on the charities farm with some of the workers and a few other volunteers. This particular well would be used for irrigation purposes. It was quite a rewarding experience.
