Safe Passage Summit 2026. Advancing Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights for People on the Move

What happens when governments, humanitarian organizations, development partners, and civil society come together with one shared vision? Watch the highlights of the Safe Passage Summit 2026, hosted by Planned Parenthood Federation of Nigeria (PPFN), with support from the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) and the Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare, Nigeria. Held in Abuja, the summit convened over 100 national and international organizations, government institutions, humanitarian actors, and development partners to strengthen collaboration and advance Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) for refugees, internally displaced persons (IDPs), asylum seekers, migrants, and other people on the move. As part of the Safe Passage Project, a regional initiative spanning Nigeria, Niger, Cameroon, Sudan, Mauritania, Ethiopia, Tunisia, and Morocco. The summit served as a platform to exchange knowledge, strengthen partnerships, and develop sustainable solutions that ensure equitable access to life-saving health services for vulnerable populations. Together, we are building a future where every person, regardless of where they are or the circumstances that forced them to move, has access to quality, rights-based healthcare.
