Plane Spotting at Newark Liberty Intl. Airport 4K Departures | EWR / KEWR New Jersey

Newark Airport. One of the busiest and most notorious airports in the US. Well, it's also frustrating for plane spotting. They do not allow tripod photography/videography on airport property including parking lots. Why? I don't know. Everything about this airport is infuriating. The winds were also not in my favor during my east coast trip. It determines exactly how your spotting session will go. It comes down to luck most of the time, but you can plan ahead if you are staying for multiple days. Unfortunately for me, I only had a couple days to capture EWR and JFK footage. At least for New York JFK, there's plenty of spaces around the airport to switch to. There's only 1 place to go for plane spotting at EWR, a parking lot of a neighboring IKEA. I was only able to get takeoffs from 22R as planes were taking off south and arriving from the north. The north side is out of sight from IKEA. If the winds went southbound, you can get both landings (with sunlight) and takeoffs whereas northbound winds only give you takeoffs. Newark Airport, you can do better..
