Sand Dunes, Self Nav & POOL TIME!

Huge sand dunes, long self-navigation stages, getting slightly lost in the middle of nowhere, questioning my bike choice… and somehow still having the best time. These last stages felt less like a race and more like a proper adventure. Riding deep into the desert, carrying bikes through sand, surviving on instinct and then diving straight into the pool afterwards. I also realised during these stages that I cared far more about enjoying the racing and experience than chasing a podium. Once I let go of that pressure, I started having way more fun out there.
