Our adventure began with a direct flight from Delhi to Phuket. We stayed at the Novotel hotel, which is conveniently located along the famous Patong Beach. We spent around 3-4 days soaking in the vibrant atmosphere of Patong before heading to Phi Phi Islands by ferry. Patong Beach is known for its lively nightlife, stunning views, and a wide array of water sports. The beach itself is perfect for relaxing and the surrounding area is filled with shops, restaurants, and street vendors offering everything from local Thai delicacies to international cuisine. The warm, crystal-clear waters and the golden sand make it a perfect spot for both relaxation and adventure. During our stay in Phuket, we also explored some of the island's famous landmarks. One of the highlights was the Big Buddha, a towering statue sitting atop Nakkerd Hill. The view from the top is breathtaking, offering panoramic views of Phuket, including the coastline, the islands in the distance, and the lush jungle surrounding the area. The atmosphere is peaceful, with visitors taking in the spiritual significance of the site. We also visited Wat Chalong, one of the most important temples on the island. This beautiful and serene Buddhist temple is rich in history and culture. Its intricate design, peaceful courtyards, and the large pagoda make it an ideal place for reflection and learning about Thailand's religious heritage. No trip to Phuket would be complete without experiencing the bustling Bangla Road in Patong. This street is alive with energy, especially at night, with its neon lights, lively bars, clubs, and street performances. It's a popular spot for tourists seeking entertainment, whether it's shopping, dining, or enjoying the nightlife. Lastly, we spent some time at Jungceylon Mall, a modern shopping center in Patong. The mall offers a mix of international and local brands, along with plenty of dining options, entertainment, and even a cinema. It's a great place to escape the heat and enjoy some shopping or simply relax in the air-conditioned environment.
