We Cut More Rust, Build An Inner Wheel Well & Test Crazy Wheels On Rustella
Work continues on Rustella! This week on SquareMax Customs we're back on our 1957 Chevy 210 wagon, knocking out another pile of rust repair. We pull more glass, get the car up on jack stands, scrape years of grime, sand everything down, cut out more rotten metal, and weld in fresh hand-made patch panels. The highlight of the episode is fabricating a brand-new inner fender for the driver's side rear wheel well from flat sheet steel. No reproduction panels herw, hust a little creativity, and a whole lot of hustling. And because we couldn't resist... we roll a massive 24x14 wheel wrapped in a 35-inch tire next to Rustella just to see what she'd look like. It's probably a terrible idea... but it sure looks cool. If you enjoy backyard builds, metal fabrication, and bringing forgotten classics back from the dead, you're in the right place. Thanks for watching, and don't forget to let us know what you think of Rustella's progress! Love to have ya'll join in on our adventures.
