Bricknose Ford Custom Door Panels

This one-off pair of 1987-1991 Ford F-Series and Bronco door panels recently made their way off the workbench after being completed in-house at OBS Interiors. Built from original OEM Ford door panels, the pair underwent a complete restoration and customization process featuring genuine Alcantara suede inserts with custom channel details, high-gloss piano black trim moldings, and custom-built armrests upholstered in black European Nappa leather with French seams. From initial disassembly through final assembly, more than 19 hours were invested into the project. The plastics were refinished using our professional-grade interior coloring system, which remains unmatched in overall durability and finish quality among the systems we have worked with. Work performed included: • Complete disassembly, inspection, and cataloging • Plastic repair, reinforcement, and fabrication where required • Deep cleaning and chemical surface preparation • Texture restoration and blending in repaired areas • Re colored black in a true professional-grade interior refinishing system using our custom color system that's unlatched in durability and quality. • Charcoal black Genuine Alcantara suede inserts • Custom channel upholstery design and construction • Refinishing of original trim moldings in high-gloss piano black • Multi-stage clear coating, wet sanding, and polishing of trim components • new custom armrests upholstered in black European Nappa leather with French seams • Installation of new speaker cloth and padding • Final assembly and inspection These panels are currently available for purchase and represent one of the most extensive 1987-1991 Ford truck door panel restorations and customizations we have completed to date.
