My Tour du Mont Blanc in detail: gear, guidebook, camping, weather + more!

In July 2024 I completed the Tour du Mont Blanc (TMB) with my friend, Diana. We decided to do this hike just two months before and to camp the whole thing, so I spent two months researching as much as I could, getting lighter gear, choosing a guide book, and watching other people's YouTube videos. In this video I hope to share some of the tips and considerations that should help others plan their own TMB adventure, especially as there is limited guidance on camping it instead of staying in refuges. I talk about the sleeping bag comfort rating you should have, the tent I used, my favourite of the two guide books I bought, and some things I would change if I were to do it again. I'll also talk you through the route I followed including the variants, and some of the places I camped - both paid campsites and wild camps. I hope it is useful :)
