Femicide

Even after the move earlier this year, where women took to the streets to condemn the increased cases of women and young girls being killed and perpetrators walking scot-free, there has seen no change and the government seems to have not taken any move to end the killings. In the past three months, 97 women have died through femicide; this translates to 1 woman being killed each day.BHESP being a women-led organization that advocates for the rights of women, highly condemns the increased rate of femicide and would like to ask the government to take this matter as urgent and serve justice to women who have lost their lives through femicide by investigating and arresting this perpetuators. We cannot continue to lose our women,, leaving kids behind to suffer. Stop killing the future !! One life lost is too many lives lost.
