I Played Every FIFA Game on Mobile

Developed by EA and released across iOS and Android from 2009 onwards, the FIFA mobile series attempted to bring one of gaming’s biggest sports franchises to phones and tablets. In this video, we take a look back at every mainline FIFA game released on mobile, from the early premium releases that tried to shrink down the console experience, through to the later free-to-play era of FIFA Mobile. Along the way, we’ll also touch on some of the stranger spin-offs, including social and management-style releases like FIFA Superstars. For a series that was once known for yearly console releases, bargain bin copies, and being one of the most recognisable names in gaming, FIFA’s mobile history is surprisingly messy. Some entries managed to capture the feel of the mainline games surprisingly well, while others were held back by touch controls, missing features, aggressive monetisation, server shutdowns, or simply being lost to time. So today, we’re looking at how FIFA evolved on mobile, whether these versions still hold up, and whether any of them are actually worth playing today. 👍 Enjoyed the video?
