Elizabeth's story | Becoming a 'Viking' for research
Elizabeth is part of the 'Viking Thing' programme at the NIHR Southampton Biomedical Research Centre. The governance model places Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement (PPIE) at the heart of the research centre. The programme brings together a diverse group of contributors and staff partners to engage directly with research teams. This offers valuable insights from lived experiences and perspectives that represent both patients and the wider public.
