Amanda Gorman, the 21-year-old inaugural Youth Poet Laureate of the United States of America, opened the 2019 Women in the World Summit with a stunning reading of her empowering poetry. Accompanying Gorman onstage was a troupe of dancers led by legendary choreographer Sherrie Silver, the mastermind behind Childish Gambino's award-winning music video "This Is America."
