Off-Road to 10,000ft! Camping at Funnel Lake, Coyote Flats | Layton Springs Swim

I took my Toyota Tacoma overland build up into the Eastern Sierra for an unforgettable trip with friends. Starting with the rugged Coyote Flats trail near Bishop, we climbed high into the mountains to reach Funnel Lake, one of the most beautiful alpine lakes in California. We set up camp, cooked some good food, fished and enjoyed the peace of the high Sierra wilderness. Toward the end of the trip, we made a stop at Layton Springs to relax and take a dip — the perfect way to wrap up an off-road adventure.
