My FAVORITE Wood Sealer ๐๐๐
I'm often asked for my recommendation of a wood sealer to protect exterior natural finished wood... or to enrich the look of interior pine ceiling joists. I don't often use a sealer on the log cabins I build but when I do this is my first choice... It is simple and inexpensive to make... without a lot of unnecessary toxins... It is very similar to what the National Park Service uses on many of their structures. (BTW.. I don't use this to finish fine furniture or floors... that's a whole 'nother topic!) Please note that just about everything I know about using this sealer is contained within the video. If you have a question about a specific application, the best thing to do is experiment in a little noticeable area to see how things look and come out. Adding finish to a piece of wood, depending on exposure to the elements, means that you will eventually be adding a new applications of a finish at some point to keep things looking fresh. No finish, except that which nature provides, lasts forever. Thank you for taking the time to watch this video and give it a thumbs up! Make sure and come see us over at HandmadeHouses.com!
