The Taichung District Prosecutors Office, investigating the "Chung Lien Company" oil product carcinogen exceeding standards, searched six locations across four oil companies yesterday and questioned eleven individuals, including the chairmen and general managers of these companies. Following questioning, they determined that these individuals violated the "Food Hygiene Management Act." In particular, Yu Lingchong, the general manager of "Chung Lien Company," is suspected of destroying or falsifying evidence and colluding with witnesses. Therefore, the prosecutors requested the court to detain him without bail.
