Best Awadhi biryani in London?

The fragrance of the Awadhi biryani, of the Lucknow style, which is less spicy than Hyderabadi but not as aromatic as the Kolkata version hits you upon arrival. I’d highly recommend the samosa chaat, dahi or strained yoghurt kebab, monkfish and tandoor chicken, something we both would never order at an Indian restaurant. It was so soft and well spiced without added colouring. The Kashmiri tea was fragrant and warming on a cold day. I was thrilled to discover the London restaurant, along with the bar next door, are owned by a fellow Bengali. And the bouquet from their PR director Shreya brightened up the stormy day.
