But as you know, it’s just a legend. In my opinion, the name comes from the spices and ingredients used in it, like rosewater, pistachios, and saffron. 🔻 Ingredients for the cake • 1 cup almond flour (100 grams) • 1 cup all-purpose flour (100 grams) • 1 teaspoon baking powder • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda • 1/4 teaspoon salt • 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom • Zest of 1 lemon • 3/4 cup sugar • 2 large eggs • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt • 1/2 cup melted butter • 1/4 cup orange juice • 1 tablespoon rose water • 1 tablespoon saffron tea (saffron steeped in water) • 1/2 cup ground pistachios (50 grams) 🔻 Ingredients for the Glaze: • 1 cup powdered sugar • 2 tablespoons lemon juice • 1 tablespoon rose water 🍰 Instructions: 1️⃣ Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
