Cordoba: Spring Fair

The Cordoba Spring Fair, or Feria de Nuestra Señora de la Salud takes place during the last week of May at the municipal fairground in el Arenal on the north bank of the River Guadalquivir. It has a marked Andalusian flavour. Small tents called casetas are erected where people gather to eat, drink and dance. All the casetas are open for visitors to enter they like. Moreover, the streets fill with horse-drawn carriages, flamenco dress, “Sevillana” music and wine.
