This was one of the most time-consuming and laborious stages... and the least visible on camera. For over three weeks, our day started with the mud (pitch) and ended with sanding, then we'd go back the next day and repeat the same process. We could have taken the easy way out and chosen walls with a textured finish to hide imperfections, but we decided to challenge ourselves and try to achieve perfectly smooth walls, even though it was our first time attempting this. Every day, we asked ourselves... Is all this effort worth it? Or did we just waste our time? That's why we didn't document every step of the way. We waited until the crucial moment... The first room in the house to receive its primer. This moment was the real test for us. Paint doesn't hide mistakes... it reveals them.
