Leaving Ghaziabad (1:30 – 4:00) "We started early in the morning to avoid city traffic. The cool weather and empty roads made the beginning of the journey smooth and relaxing. As we crossed Ghaziabad and entered NH-9, the city slowly disappeared behind us. Tall buildings gave way to open highways, green fields, and peaceful surroundings. Nothing beats the excitement of starting a fresh road trip." Crossing Hapur (4:00 – 6:00) "Our first major town was Hapur, famous for its grain markets and growing industries. Traffic was moderate, and after crossing the city, the highway became much smoother. The Scorpio N handled every stretch effortlessly, making highway cruising extremely comfortable." Towards Gajraula (6:00 – 8:00) "Driving through the countryside, endless sugarcane fields stretched across both sides of the road. Small villages, roadside temples, local tea stalls, and colorful trucks added life to the journey. This is the beauty of road trips—you experience the real India." Breakfast Stop at Gajraula (8:00 – 10:30) "After driving for nearly two hours, it was time for breakfast. Gajraula is one of the most popular highway stopovers in North India. We enjoyed hot tea, crispy parathas with butter, fresh curd, and delicious aloo sabzi. A good breakfast gives fresh energy for the remaining journey." Entering Moradabad (10:30 – 13:00) "Back on the highway, we continued towards Moradabad. Known worldwide as the Brass City of India, Moradabad has a rich industrial history. Traffic became slightly heavier here, but the Scorpio N's smooth handling made city driving easy." Beautiful Roads towards Rampur (13:00 – 15:00) "As we left Moradabad behind, the scenery became even greener. The roads were lined with tall trees, mango orchards, and beautiful agricultural fields. The fresh air and peaceful environment reminded us why road trips are always special." Entering Uttarakhand (15:00 – 17:00) "Finally, we crossed the Uttarakhand border. The atmosphere immediately felt different. Cooler breeze... Cleaner surroundings... And the excitement started building as mountains slowly appeared on the horizon. This is always one of my favorite moments during every Uttarakhand trip." Arrival in Haldwani (17:00 – 19:00) "After several hours on the road, we finally reached Haldwani. Often called the Gateway to Kumaon, Haldwani is where countless Himalayan adventures begin. The city is lively, surrounded by forests, hills, and fresh mountain air. Whether you're heading to Nainital, Mukteshwar, Munsiyari, Pithoragarh, or Dharchula, Haldwani is the perfect starting point."
