Hiking in Tenerife. From Barranco de Ruiz to San Juan de la Rambla.

Barranco de Ruiz to San Juan de la Rambla. A beautiful and very varied hiking route in the north of Tenerife, near Puerto de la Cruz. The route starts at the picnic area at Barranco de Ruiz (bus stop no. 363), continues into the Barranco and up to the small town of La Vera. From here there is a section of ordinary road (virtually no traffic) through an area of ​​agriculture, before the route takes you down another barranco to San Juan de la Rambla and on to the beach promenade in Las Aguas. From Las Aguas and back to the starting point, you follow a fantastic coastal path with wonderful views of the Atlantic Ocean.
