REDLINE - The Culture of Street Racing

1990s street racing documentary covering the import tuning scene way before movies like The Fast and The Furious even came out. Take a drive down memory lane with this documentary which covers personal experiences in the Ontario, Canada import scene from the early 90's to 2003. Warning, the cars are SLOW by today's standards and styles may have changed. What you will see however, are plenty of EG civics, DA Acura Integras, 89' Honda Preludes, RX7s, MK4 Supra's, and the like. REDLINE was made waaay before YouTube and the first iPhone even existed so no HD and no 4K sorry. These were right after the days of VCR to VCR editing, where if you screwed up you had to start all over again. This was the first film I ever made, it was shot on a Sony Hi8 Digital Camera and edited on a Pentium 3 using a program you never heard of called EditDV, so again it's pretty old school and rough around the edges. Fun fact, REDLINE won the 'Best Feature Doc' Award at the 2003 Long Island, NY Film Festival and was screened along with Danny Boyle's horror film '28 Days Later' to give you some context of what kind of time we're talking here.
