【小樽】鉄道博物館としおばな祭【ぐるっと道南鉄道旅行＃３】

September 2025: The third installment of our railway journey around southern Hokkaido, this time in Otaru! In the morning, we visited the Otaru City Museum to see the Shizuka, which supported Hokkaido's first railway, and the Iron Horse, a steam locomotive that is still preserved in working order. We experienced the history of railways firsthand while enjoying the rare experience of actually riding a steam locomotive. Then in the afternoon, we finally headed to the main event of the trip, the Shiobana Festival. A doujinshi sale featuring only Tokyo6 characters was held in Otaru, the setting of the festival! It was a unique day in Otaru, where we could enjoy history and modern culture in the same city. Please be sure to watch until the end!
