Hidden Toronto: York Mills Baptist Church Cemetery
York Mills Baptist Church Cemetery is a hidden, defunct pioneer cemetery. It sits on a small lot between two houses on the north side of York Mills Road, just east of Yonge Street. The church was built in 1833 and demolished in 1948. The cemetery closed in 1945 and contains 38 remaining grave markers, including early area pioneers and members of the famous Gooderham distilling family.
