The "Baroda Bobber" built by Jay Patel of J&D Custom Co (from Vadodara, Gujarat) represents a stunning transformation of 2004 Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350 (AVL) into a vintage-styled bobber. Several components of this build were designed and hand-crafted by Jay himself. I was fortunate to meet Jay for a few hours while I was travelling through Gujarat in July 2016. We've stayed in touch since then and eventually ran into each other again at Rider Mania 2018 in Goa. We decided to make a short video showcasing one of his most brilliant custom motorcycles builds while also sharing a little bit of our respective journeys in the time since we last met.
