Soldiers of the 108th Territorial Defense Brigade spent 109 days on their positions. While other units were rotated, this group could not be evacuated due to complex logistics. To survive in encirclement, the servicemen filtered rainwater and took rations from eliminated Russian soldiers. The occupiers poisoned them with gas, believing that elite special forces were holding the position. We learned about this story from Liubov, the wife of soldier Anton. Look at how his appearance changed between the 70th and 109th day on position. It was the wife's public struggle that helped secure the order for a grueling three-day retreat under heavy shelling. Currently, Liubov is waiting for the investigation results from the military ombudsperson, Olha Reshetylova.
