In this video, I invite my friends to join me on a pilgrimage to the tomb of Sheikh Jumadil Kubro in Trowulan, Mojokerto, East Java. Unlike most pilgrims who take motorcycle taxis from the terminal, this time I chose to walk to enjoy the scenery along the way. From the shady path leading to the tomb to the large banyan trees that characterize the area, everything evokes a sense of serenity. In this video, I also briefly share the history and work of Sheikh Jumadil Kubro, a great scholar who, according to various traditions, was considered an important figure before the time of the Wali Songo and played a role in the spread of Islam in the archipelago.
