Altra Experience Wilde 3+ review - first run and first impressions. Over the years of testing running shoes, I’ve tried quite a few models from Altra’s trail running range. Some have performed really well and I’ve genuinely enjoyed running in them, but others have left me feeling a bit disappointed. One thing that has always been a challenge for me is Altra’s signature zero-drop design. While many runners love it, it’s not something I usually get on with. However, the Altra Experience Wild 3+ is a little different. This new trail running shoe features a 4mm heel-to-toe drop, which should feel much more natural for my running style. So in this video, I take the Altra Experience Wild 3+ trail running shoes out for their first run test to see how they perform on the trails and whether this could finally be the Altra shoe that really works for me.
