Inflammation Amount protein: Current recommendations: 0.8 grams of protein per Kilogram of body weight. Literature: 1.2-1.4 grams of protein per Kg of body weight. Decrease BUN-malabsorption. Globulin (2.4-2.8 g/dL) Increase globulin-hypochlorhydria. Decrease globulin-digestive inflammation, likely see low phosphorous. Don’t tolerate HCL supplements. Albumin (4.5-5.5 g/dL) Decrease Albumin-hypochlorhydria.
