The Chipper is a high volume sequence of movements, which this year features a mix of high-skill gymnastics (30 handstand push-ups and 15 ring muscle-ups) and military style grip & endurance tests (100LB Jerry Can carry, Feed Bag box step-ups). Coming into the event, Pat Vellner trailed leader Justin Medeiros by just 35 points, and while the two would run neck-and-neck again in the Chipper, it was Iceland's Björgvin Karl Guðmundsson who blazed through the challenge.
