These cards are often very dirty with black spots and stains! Holographic cards are also often scratched, some more deeply than others. Before putting them away in the Master Set, I think it's a good idea to restore them. So, we'll use a magic potion made with distilled water and 70% alcohol. 90% water, 10% alcohol. Then, we'll use large cotton swabs to gently rub the Pikachu, Charizard, or other cards from our ED2 base set. With a microfiber cloth, we'll dry them and remove any impurities! And for the holographic Alakazam, Blastoise, or Venusaur cards, we'll remove the micro-scratches with a car boot. Again, with the cotton swab, we'll make circles and rub gently. For the black spots on the cards, we'll pop them off with a toothpick! After that, be careful, you'll need to be patient and meticulous because disaster can happen very quickly! Proof of this is the Squirtle card I wrecked... In a future episode, we'll use a heat press to remove creases and veins from our cards—it's going to be exciting!
