RANKING the 12 BEST Ubers in Battle Cats

the thundia section is NOT TV WORLD - it's air waves by toby fox, which is cited below. note: all of my footage is used with BCU, an accurate battle cats simulator, which among other things, allows me to test with non-ubers at level 50, rather than the level 80+ on my account. methodology & purpose of the tierlist: This methodology is different from the prevailing consensus, and much of the justification is the overwhelming powercreep in recent updates, especially from free units. These broken free units can carry subpar ubers, carrying them to clears where the unit supposedly being tested doesn't do most of the work. It's extremely easy to clear Heinous Road using Papaluga, despite him barely contributing. I think it's also important to test on the hardest stages - there are many ubers, such as Mitama, who can easily handle simplistic stages but completely crumble to modern stage design. This ranking focuses on what happens when you test ubers without carrying them with free units, focusing solely on the uber in question on the hardest stages. Synergy is still important, arguably more important than ever - and this methodology separate synergy from a piggyback ride. dishonorable mentions Balrog - he's insanely fun and a viable replacement to Can Can, who is one of the best units, but in terms of raw carry power, he often struggles heavily against the hardest stages due to reliance on dedicated support. It's always a usable strategy, but Balrog's impact is questionable when his impact is reliant on stage-specific units who perform better in those specific stages than he does. He also has to compete with Can Can, and Balrog doesn't have double bounty or meatshield-tier HP. Yukimura - similar to balrog in that melee units scale poorly in lategame because they rely on both health and damage, whereas traditional backliners only rely on damage. This results in yukimura losing value faster as enemies get stronger compared to other ubers. Also, bahablast stole all of his rushing viability, bahamut genuinely has 4x more damage and dps. Izanagi - He just barely missed the list. Izanagi's damage is not as overwhelming as on paper, since even Gao hitting two enemies nearly matches Izanagi's total DPS. I'd still take Izanagi's firepower, but 350 range, long cooldown for a midranger (120s, CCH is 70 for reference), and lack of any traitless damage are significant thorns in his side. Despite faring better than traditional backliners, I wouldn't say he's good for most traditional boss fights where backliners aren't viable. In this sense, he is somewhat like a version of Dasli with a different attacking style that trades traitless damage for slightly better traited performance. Lasvoss - His raw power is undeniable, but it's way too random to rely on and it's a massive pain to work with. The goal of using ubers is to make hard stages easier (and technically faster, though almost all are slower than just using bahamut). Resetting a stage 5 times because Lasvoss homed in on a squirrel, missed twice, and then forgot to savage blow is a waste of my real-life time. At a certain point I would just rather ignore him and play a strategy that doesn't rely on gambling to have a chance at victory. Sometimes, especially for new players, Lasvoss resetting is easier than tackling the stage normally, but this is not the case enough of the time for me to say he's top 12. Also, Bad Guys is usually overkill as most meatshields only need research M/Sm + Sm, and research L is only big for boulder. Killer Cat is also relatively rare, only coming once per year, and that means it can be months between unlocking Lasvoss and using Killer Cat also, credit to xskull for the inspiration, I have so much more respect for the work he does because this took much longer than I expected music credits: neverending night - toby fox:    • 72. Neverending Night (DELTARUNE Chapter 3...   raise up your bat - toby fox:    • 20. Raise Up Your Bat (DELTARUNE Chapter 3...   TV WORLD - toby fox:    • 26. TV WORLD (DELTARUNE Chapter 3+4 Soundt...   the third sanctuary - toby fox:    • 63. The Third Sanctuary (DELTARUNE Chapter...   vapor buster - toby fox:    • 15. Vapor Buster (DELTARUNE Chapter 3+4 So...   hammer of justice - toby fox:    • 58. Hammer of Justice (DELTARUNE Chapter 3...   air waves - toby fox:    • 77. Air Waves (DELTARUNE Chapter 3+4 Sound...   power of NEO, ranfei remix: toby fox, ranfei:    • UNDERTALE // Power of NEO - Unfinished Ver...   title screen - paper mario the thousand year door: Yoshito Sekigawa, Kazuki Komai, Fumihiro Isober,    • Title Screen - Paper Mario: The Thousand-Y...   GUARDIAN - toby fox:    • 68. GUARDIAN (DELTARUNE Chapter 3+4 Soundt...   roar of the jungle dragon - instrumental - DM Dokuro check out and support the awesome music creators: toby fox:    / @toby-fox-music   paper mario: made by nintendo, but uploaded by someone else (not the creator)    / @yoshisvgm   roar of the jungle/DK dokuro: (reuploaded to youtube)    • Roar of the Jungle Dragon - Instrumental
