Miyake VLog #491 ★64th Shizuoka Hobby Show On-Site Report! 16 Companies Including BANDAI/Kotobukiya/WAVE/FineMolds/Aoshima/KATO! Hello everyone! This is Kazuaki Miyake, the third-generation owner of Miyake Model Shop in Kushiro. This video is the third installment of my on-site report from the 64th Shizuoka Hobby Show! We'll finally be showing you what happened on day two! We'll start off with a fantastic three-shot photo with Ohm Model Shop from Sapporo and Hobby Hikari from Otaru! This time, we'll be introducing a whopping 16 manufacturers all at once – a super-sized volume packed with highlights! First up is the much-anticipated Bandai booth… but as usual, photography and recording are strictly prohibited! So, I'll be sharing the atmosphere with a silent slideshow (please forgive me for this! lol)! In the character model section, we were thrilled by Kotobukiya's Megami Device and the long-awaited new Zoids developments! Max Factory and Wave's lineups of Armored Trooper Votoms and Macross were also must-sees. X-Plus's monstrous King Ghidorah, priced surprisingly low, was also a hot topic! In the scale model section, we conducted a direct interview with FineMolds' President Suzuki! We asked him about the behind-the-scenes stories of new products and directly shared viewer requests. At the Aoshima booth, we were astonished by the rapid development of the "Rakupura" series and the announcement of a plastic model of Monster Hunter's Rathalos! And we can't miss our unexpected reunion with Frank at the venue! It turns out he's not only a former customer of ours who used to live in Obihiro, but also a highly skilled modeler who graced the cover of Armor Modeling magazine, and currently works for a German diorama material manufacturer—a truly surprising revelation! In the latter half of the event, in the model railway zone, we had an enthusiastic discussion with the KATO booth staff!
