☀️What’s done in the dark will come to light ✨ 👮For the last three years Norfolk Constabulary has tried to cover up, dismiss and ignore the shocking contents of this recording. For the last three years its so-called Professional Standards Department has acted as a PR Agency dedicated to exonerating these police officers despite clear evidence of gross misconduct: impropriety, violence, abuse of police powers and the judicial system, dishonesty, racism, misogyny, transphobia, and highly abusive and derogatory comments aimed at the public they are sworn to serve. And for three years I’ve fought for accountability while sitting on this footage, waiting for the right moment to release it. That time is now. To everyone who has shared the excerpts I’ve posted across social media and challenged Norfolk Constabulary publicly: THANK YOU. Because of you, the force is now under immense pressure to address this. ‼️TAKE ACTION ‼️ Our work isn’t finished. To improve intelligibility the audio has been enhanced by sound engineer and producer Delphi Mangan, who provides the following statement: “This recording has been enhanced to specifically improve the clarity and audibility of human voices using equalisation; a common effect used in music, radio, TV, film and beyond. The process makes certain aspects of audio recordings clearer, in this case by removing rumbling noises and increasing the volume of consonants in speech. These processes can in no way change the content of a recording, or what is said in it.
